High School Enrollment

I’m really not sure why they implement the new K+12 system. Just think about it, my sister graduated from elementary and about to go to high school but she said she’s not yet a high schooler yet she will be going to the same high school where I studied.

She just took the entrance exam and she’ll be back next week for the orientation. She was not able to take the special science class exam. Too bad. She deserves to be in a higher section since she graduated 10th place in the honor roll. No gre prep review necessary for her, she’s all good.

I just wish her all the best and hope she continue doing good in her studies.

And it seems that we’re having a kick off party here since it has been raining cats and dogs this afternoon! Well, it’s good in a sense that it can tone down the summer heat. Hey, heavy rainfall in summer? Ridiculous! But don’t you know that this rainfall can mean good luck and good health? Have you heard an old belief about Agua de Mayo? My parents and grandparents told us when we’re just kids that the first rainfall of May can cure many diseases, in short, it’s good for our health. We used to play under the rain in our province at times like this but too bad, I can’t do it right now here in Manila. Hehe.
