I’m using organic shampoo and conditioner (READ: Human Nature) but since I keep receiving samples of Dove Damage Therapy shampoo and conditioner, I decided to give it a try. After all, my hair and scalp are not picky wit hair products.

On day 1, I used the Dove shampoo and it smells great! Even after blow-drying my hair, the sweet smell was still there. As usual, my hair wasn’t frizzy. Just flying away because it is shoulder-length.
On day 2, I used the conditioner and I like the smoothing effect on mu hair. It actually looks straighter and shinier.
If you’ve noticed, I didn’t use the conditioner right after using the shampoo on day 1. This practice works for me. I used shampoo every other day while alternating it with conditioner from time to time. My weekly hair care schedule keeps changing.
Day 1: Shampoo
Day 2: None
Day 3: Shampoo
Day 4: Conditioner
Day 5: None
Day 6: Shampoo
… etc.
No specific pattern but that’s it. Not too much shampoo or conditioner. But if I feel that my hair was so sticky after a day of commuting or being engaged to sports, I shampoo my hair to wash off the dirt. I don’t have strict schedule as to when to shampoo or condition my hair. All I know is that I am giving it the proper care.
Am I switching from my organic shampoo to Dove? No. I love Human Nature, 100% no harmful chemicals! I just felt like sharing my thoughts about DOVE since I’ve tried it.

My work mates have tried Dove too and liked it but I don’t want to switch right now. I’m not really a fan of dove soap and body wash so I don’t think I’ll like the shampoo. Haha I dont wash my hair everyday too. This works for me because it prevents my hair from being too dry
Hehe. Right! Every other day is good enough!
Wow nice post! I never tried Dove for my hair pa but will surely do.. Good reviews kasi from friends.
It’s worth-trying.
I also posted about Dove and I agree it has a good smell.
Yup, and it stays longer. Sweet!
